The Full Story
The Context
Marcus & Millichap is one of the largest commercial real estate investment brokerage firms in the United States, with offices across the country and billions in transactions annually. Every property they take to market gets a full marketing package, and those packages have to be pitch-perfect. Investors making multi-million dollar decisions are looking for a reason to trust the information in front of them. The design and presentation of that information is part of that trust.
What I produced
As a marketing coordinator, I was responsible for producing the full suite of marketing materials that brokers use to take properties to market. Offering memorandums (the primary marketing document for a property listing) are 10–20 page books covering the investment highlights, financial analysis, tenant profiles, aerial photography, area overview, and rent roll. I also produced broker presentations for client meetings and email marketing campaigns distributed to investor networks.
What I produced
Every deliverable had to meet national Marcus & Millichap brand standards without exception. That meant strict typography, layout, and color guidelines across every page, combined with the ability to structure complex financial data (NOI, cap rates, lease abstracts, pro forma analysis) in a way that was immediately readable to a sophisticated investor audience. No room for inconsistency. No room for unclear hierarchy. The work had to look like it came from one of the most trusted names in commercial real estate .
The Results
Marketing materials produced to the standard of one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the country. If a national firm with that reputation trusted the quality of my work, local businesses can too.
